The Fountain

I just got back from watching The Fountain at Jordan Landing with Hana. She's definitely quite fun to be around. The movie was quite good as well. Hana had been looking forward to it quite a bit. I highly recommend it for fans of Hugh Jackman and anyone who likes a bit of trippish fantasy with their dramatic romance.

Earlier today I got my hair cut over at that Great Clips place next to Albertson's on State. The girl that did my hair was interesting. We shared some of that genuine conversation that can only be the result of that span of time while a person is cutting another person's hair. The chit-chat eventually turned into a bit of discussion about hair color and how she thought my hair would be really fun with which to experiment. I've been thinking from time to time about putting a little red in my hair for the past year or two and she was really convincing with how she described how she would do it. She said, however, that they unfortunately did not do hair color there, and that we should exchange numbers in case I ever decided I wanted to do it.

I'm not going to get the coloring done before I go to Washington for quarter break, but I probably will shortly thereafter. I just don't want to piss off my dad since he's been my main family support since I've come to SLC and I don't want to disappoint my grandpa since he likely won't be around much longer. I miss quite a few of the members of my dad's side of the family.

Also worth mentioning, I saw Casino Royale, the new 007 movie, last night at Jordan Commons after playing a bit of DDR at the State Nickelcade with Ryan and Go Wei from school and a silly 14-ish year old who works there.

Can I pretend you don't exist just for ten more minutes? My heart's been broken into two, rusted from years of disuse. So will you place upon it your hand and will you help it beat again?
